This client was looking for opportunities to “expand in place” by converting the apartment from a Junior 4 to a 2 bedroom layout.  This reconfiguration places private programing to the back of the apartment and introduces an open concept layout for the kitchen and living room. Pocketed french doors allow for daylight to penetrate deep into the apartment from the southern exposure, while the re-worked kitchen provides more work surface and amenities which were unachievable in the former layout.
